"Working in pewter allows me as a sculpture to continue to work with each piece through all stages. My techniques have been developed using many tradition elements of fine art sculpting and foundry casting, but working in a way that allows creativity from concept through to basing the finished artwork.

Through the varied subject matters that I sculpt a feeling of passion and intensity must remain at the heart of each piece. It is important to me that my work is presented in only very small numbers or in many cases only as original pieces, where the owners can fully appreciate the true uniqueness of the sculpture."

Previously Damian has focused on producing work of some of the worlds top footballers, both in bronze and pewter, with pieces owned by some of footballs elite stars. His move to include wildlife in his repetoire presents new opportunities for collectors of his work.
